MMCRM Preparation
A common misconception in the industry is that Custom CRMs are of lesser quality than commercially available CRMs. This belief is based on the assumption that only ores with favourable attributes (e.g. finely-disseminated gold) can be made into homogeneous CRMs. The old adage “you can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear” no longer applies to CRMs manufacturing. At ORE we employ the same level of care in the production of Custom CRMs as we do with our OREAS range of CRMs. With ORE’s sophisticated preparation methods, we are able to offer quality assurance in the homogeneity of all Custom CRMs we produce, including nuggetty gold and platinum group element ores. The effectiveness of our proprietary preparation methods compared to conventional preparation methods for two batches of gold-copper ore known to contain coarse gold is illustrated below:
We have drying, crushing, batch and continuous milling equipment to suit most applications – including non-ferrous milling. Separately housed blending facilities to suit batch sizes from 10kg to 2000kg ensures cross contamination between CRMs is efficiently managed.
