22 new OREAS CRMs have been released this year:
- six epithermal Ag-Cu-Au ore CRMs (OREAS 600 to 605)
- two medium grade Mn ore CRMs (OREAS 171 & 172)
- five VMS Zn-Pb-Cu-Ag-Au ore CRMs (OREAS 620 to 624)
- six carbonatite-hosted REE ore CRMs (OREAS 460 to 465)
- one basalt chip CRM (OREAS 26b)
- three greenstone hosted gold ore CRMs (OREAS 214 to 216)
Upcoming OREAS CRMs:
- four Cu-Au oxide ore CRMs (OREAS 905-908), available mid September
- Merensky Reef PGE ore CRMs, available November/December
- five IOCG CRMs to replenish our existing IOCG stock (see OREAS 59a, 59b, 59c and 59d), new stock available October
Many of these suites will come under the SuperCRM classification we introduced last year (i.e. incorporate full ICP-OES and ICP-MS suite certifications). Details of the upcoming suites mentioned above are shown below along with a brief description and their expected grades.
- Four Cu-Au oxide ore CRMs (available mid September)
OREAS 905 to 908 consist of oxide copper-gold ore sourced from MMG’s Golden Grove deposit in Western Australia. Target grades:

OREAS 680 to 683 will be sourced from Anglo American Platinum’s Dishaba Mine in South Africa.
Certification program to include:
- Pt-Pd-Au by Pb fire assay;
- Pt-Pd-Ru-Rh-Ir-(Os)-Au by NiS fire assay;
- Ni, Cu and full suite ICP-OES and MS by aqua regia digestion;
- Ni, Cu and full suite ICP-OES and MS by four acid digestion.
- Five IOCG ore CRMs (available October)

- 0.29% Cu, 0.2ppm Au
- 0.6% Cu, 0.3ppm Au
- 0.9% Cu, 0.6ppm Au
- 1.7% Cu, 0.8ppm Au
