Innovating since 1988

ORE Pty Ltd (known as OREAS) was founded in 1986 by Dr Paul Hamlyn in Melbourne, Australia. From humble beginnings working from a car garage and mixing rock samples in a domestic cement mixer, the OREAS brand is now recognised globally for the unrivaled confidence it brings to assay data. We are a team of highly specialised geologists and chemists available to assist with any reference material related matter. Our customer service, meticulous preparation and ISO certification methods are the reason OREAS proudly maintains an extensive list of clients worldwide.

OREAS has extensive experience in the preparation and certification of a diverse range of geological reference materials of economic importance including ores of gold, silver, platinum group elements, copper, nickel, silver-lead-zinc, iron, uranium, tungsten, molybdenum, rare earth elements, lithium, manganese and graphite. OREAS also produce a wide range of lithogeochem reference materials ideal for pathfinder suites in exploration across lateritic and glacial terrains. OREAS SuperCRMs® are extremely versatile and enable control over a range of analytical methods for complete ICP-OES and ICP-MS element suites within a single CRM. Glacial till SuperCRM® OREAS 47 is certified for 179 analytes (unique method-analyte pairs)!
